Sélectionner la méthode de mise à jour

  • Method 1-A = I have a single file with .img extension (you don’t need to connect the TV-Box to a PC)
  • Method 1-B = I have a single file with .img extension (you need to connect the TV-Box to a PC)
  • Method 2 = I have a single file with .zip extension you don’t need to connect the TV-Box to a PC)

! ATTENTION !

  • If the TV Box works well for our needs DO NOT UPDATE
  • If we don’t know what we are doing DO NOT UPDATE
  • If our TV-Box don’t work and does’t have reset button DO NOT TRY TO UPDATE , claim to the store.
  • Disconnect any other Android device that we have connected.
  • You always have to use a USB 2.0 connector (higher compatibility).
  • There are many TV-Boxes especially the cheap ones that are copies called ” clones ” that are incompatible with the official roms of the original models and can leave useless our TV Box or do not work the WIFI. It is impossible to know if we have a clone or not without opening the device and comparing it with another original. We recommend buying devices in the stores we recommend and if possible only known models from trusted brands.

Exigences

  • Lire le premier point de ce guide
  • Télécharger les pilotes Rockchip Create Upgrade v1.53
  • PC avec Windows 7, 8 ou 10.
  • Lecteur de carte MicroSD ou SD
  • Carte SD formatée en FAT32

Notes sur la création de la carte SD

  • Si la méthode ne fonctionne pas avec une carte, essayez-en une autre, certaines peuvent être incompatibles
  • Vous devez toujours exécuter le programme en tant qu’ADMINISTRATEUR
  • Si ce processus ne fonctionne pas, utilisez la méthode 1-B de ce même guide

Préparer la carte SD pour mettre à jour le TV-Box avec le SoC Rockchip

  1. Décompressez le fichier Rockchip Create Upgrade v1.53
  2. Localisez l’endroit où vous avez le fichier firmware au format * .img
  3. Lancez le programme Rockchip Create Upgrade en tant qu’ADMINISTRATEUR (clic droit sur « SD_Firmware_Tool.exe »)
    Dans le programme, nous sélectionnons
    – Le lecteur sur lequel nous avons connecté la carte SD
    – Activer l’option SD BOOT dans le menu du programme
    – Le chemin où se trouve le fichier IMG
  4. Appuyez sur le bouton RESTORE et le processus de création de la carte SD commencera, il peut prendre plusieurs minutes.
  5. Le TV-Box étant éteint, introduisez la carte SD.
  6. Maintenez le bouton de réinitialisation enfoncé et, sans le relâcher, connectez la TV-Box à l’électricité pour la démarrer.android tv box reset
  7. Le processus de mise à jour démarre automatiquement, il faut être patient, cela peut prendre plusieurs minutes.
  8. Pour terminer le processus, retirez la carte SD.
  9. Il est recommandé de procéder à une réinitialisation d’usine au démarrage d’Android : Paramètres> Sauvegarde> Réinitialisation

Flash Rockchip Firmware avec fichier IMG utilisant un PC

Conditions requises

Connection notes

  • Each TV-Box has a specific PC connection port.
    We have to test the flash process with all ports, USB, microUSB or USB Type-C.
  • If our PC does not detect the TV-Box we recommend using another PC
  • We may have problems with our PC if we have previously installed another program to update an Android mobile phone or other similar device.

Installing Rockchip Drivers

  1. Start the program for the Rockchip Drivers « driverinstall.exe » (execute like Administrator with right button of the mouse in Windows), press in Install
  2. In the Windows security message click on Install
    RockChip
  3. Close the drivers program
  4. Reboot the PC

1-B-1 Update Procedure for a TV-Box with RK Batch Tool

    1. Disconnect the power cord on the Rockchip TV-Box
    2. Start the program RK Batch Tool with the « RKBatchTool.exe« 
    3. Click on the Firmware button « … »
    4. Select the Firmware file with extension « . img « and will be loaded on the screen.
    5. Hold the reset button on the device and connect with a correct USB cable on our PC (acheter sur Aliexpress ou Amazon)android tv box reset
    6. The update program will detect the device almost instantly in one USB position (In the TV-Box we will have the black screen, if it enters the recovery is NOT correct)
    7. Select the RESTORE option and begin the update process
    8. When finished, a green message will appear.
    9. Wait for the system to restart and show us the Android desktop, this can take about 5 to 10 minutes.

1-B-2 Mise à jour sur PC pour TV-Box avec Factorytool

  1. Débranchez l’appareil Rockchip de l’alimentation et lancez Factorytool
  2. Téléchargez d’abord le firmware au format IMG (1) et passez en mode restauration (2)
  3. Hold the reset button on the device and connect with a correct USB cable on our PC (achetez-le sur Aliexpress ou Amazon)

  4. The update program will detect the device almost instantly in one USB position (In the TV-Box we will have the black screen, if it enters the recovery is NOT correct)
  5. Cliquer sur le bouton RUN (3), à la fin il nous donnera OK.
  6. Attendez que le système redémarre et nous montre le bureau Android, cela peut prendre de 5 à 10 minutes environ.

1-B-3 Mise à jour avec un PC pour TV-Box avec RKDevTool

  1. Débranchez l’appareil Rockchip et lancez RKDevtool v2.58 en exécutant AndroidTool.exe.
  2. Passez à la section Upgrade Firmware (mise à niveau du micro logiciel)
  3. Chargez d’abord le micrologiciel avec le fichier *.img.
  4. Hold the reset button on the device and connect with a cable from a USB of our TV-Box to a USB port on our PC (* See the previous connection notes if we have questions).

  5. The update program will detect the device (In the TV-Box we will have the black screen, if it enters the recovery is NOT correct).
  6. Appuyez sur le bouton Upgrade et attendez la fin de l’opération.

Mise à jour uniquement avec le fichier ZIP

  • Method 2 = I have a single file with .zip extension you don’t need to connect the TV-Box to a PC)
    1. Copier dans la racine de notre SD ou USB le fichier .zip de la mise à jour (selon le TV-Box on utilise l’un ou l’autre, essayer les deux)
    2. Depuis le système Android de notre TV-Box nous allons dans Paramètres, selon le modèle nous avons une option ou une autre, exemples
      – Mise à jour de l’application dans la liste des applications
      – Paramètres> A propos de l’appareil> Mise à jour
      – Certains TV-Box avec le Zip dans la racine de la SD ou USB avec le bouton flash appuyé au démarrage prennent la mise à jour
    3. Lorsque l’on vous demande le fichier zip, on le sélectionne et on clique sur charger
    4. Le processus de mise à jour commencera au redémarrage
    5. Une fois la mise à jour terminée, il est recommandé de procéder à une réinitialisation d’usine dans Paramètres > Sauvegarde

Impossible de Récupérer la TV-Box

Si notre TV-Box n’est pas récupérée par aucune méthode flash, il est possible que nous ayons essayé de mettre à jour de la mauvaise manière, il est conseillé de répéter les instructions précédentes étape par étape, si elle ne se récupère toujours pas, nous vous recommandons de lire le guide suivant.
